Widespread criticism on David & Victoria Beckhams name choice.

David and Victoria Beckham.
Her name has caused people to think that she was born at 'half past seven', but there are many, many more reactions to the name of the newest Beckham in town: Harper Seven. The Telegraph has even dedicated an entire article on Tweets about the newborn's name.

There are several theories regarding the origin of the name Harper, guesses go from novelists to Harper's Bazaar magazine, @Martin_Carr tweeted "are we assuming that's after Harper Lee? [the writer of To Kill A Mockingbird] Seems a bit literary for them..." Whereas @sarah_robbo tweeted "erm, I usually like weird celeb' baby names, but HARPER SEVEN? Literally Harpers Bizarre?!"

Some people think that the name is cute and quirky, with @ladysov tweeting, "I actually think the beckhams daughters name "harper seven" is kinda cool." Others come with societal criticism, @camillalong tweeted, "doesn't Posh know the Harper Seven were a group of climate change activists jailed for bombing a juice bar in San Francisco?"

In my opinion, Harper isn't that unusual anymore. To Kill A Mockingbird is a classic and has become a must-read for students. Seven isn't unique either, Erykah Badu and Andre 3000's son is named Seven Sirius. That people hear it as 'half past seven' is quite amusing. Let me put it this way, I'm just happy that they didn't name her Jermajesty.

Teen Mom: Amber Portwood's daughter Leah gets her own Twitter account.

Little Leah is only two years old, but her dad Gary Shirley thought it was a fun idea to give the toddler her own Twitter account. Gary thought that it would be a good way for Teen Mom fans to keep up to date regarding everything Leah-related. She could share photos and keep in contact with fans.

His plan has most certainly come with a lot of criticism attached, as many followers said that it would expose Leah to 'the evils of internet'. One person tweeted, "no one would make a #twitter for their child. You’re just asking for drama and attention." Another, more serious comment read "its not safe with all these creeps around for a baby to have a twitter weather she’s using it or not in my opinion."

Gary was quick to reply and defend himself. He tweeted, "You guys, it should be obvious that Leah has no contact w Twitter. This is just a fun concept that will in no way affect Leah herself." He continued, "I protect my daughter. This is for her sayings, things she’s doing, ect.. its all me tweeting…."

No word on what Amber thinks of all this. Could it be that baby's first Twitter account will become just as popular as baby's first Facebook page?

Is Pink a new mom?

Does Pink have a bunless oven? Yesterday night Pink tweeted a cryptic message that has the internet rumour mill going full speed, did she or didn't she have a baby? The message reads: "New Moon in Gemini today :) a good time to start something new.... Also called the Honey Moon. #intoit." This, of course, had some of her followers respond with "Perhaps a good time to have a baby".

We'll see what the news says tomorrow, because, after all, she can't be pregnant forever.
