Sofia Coppola and Thomas Mars are planning a summer wedding.

Director Sofia Coppola is momentarily busy directing her own wedding to Thomas Mars. The 'intimate family wedding' is planned for (sometime in) August in the Palazzo Margherita, a 19th century villa that father of the bride Francis Ford Coppola has rebuilt, in Bernalda, Italy.

Coppola, 40, and Phoenix-singer Mars, 34, have two children together: Romy, 4, and Cosima, 1. This will be Coppola's second marriage.
