Tiger Woods Golf Player Houses

Tiger Woods may be one of the most accessible golfers in the world, but he’s also the most private. Rumor has it that he owns property in The Hamptons (see images), Florida, California, Wyoming, and Sweden, where his wife is from. Apparently, his main home is in Florida, on Jupiter Island, with a population around 650 people, and has the highest per capita income per household anywhere in the United States. We know (or think we know) that he paid $38 million for this property, and then promptly set aside tearing down the house that was there so he could build his own idea of what he wanted his house to look like.

There have been rumors of some of the features of the house. Supposedly it’s a 3-bedroom house with a wine cellar, media and game room. It also has a boat house, pool, gym, a small golf course, and a place to dock his $10 million yacht.

  • a glass lift from the huge entrance to the first floor.
  • 3 bedrooms and a master suite with 2 ensuite bathrooms.
  • basement wine cellar, cinema and games room.
  • feature windows facing the beach and the Atlantic ocean.
  • boat house, golf training studio, 3 car garage and guest house.
  • tennis court, small golf course, pool, gym and boat dock for his £10 million yacht, Privacy
The picture is believed copyright free. I have marked it up & made an informed guess as to the entire estate based on the description of the properties demolished. The address is South Beach Road, Jupiter Island, Florida, bottom right (on map) and what I believe is the Isleworth area of Orlando (top left):

Before I discuss further the Tiger Woods house, I need to justify why I am discussing all this on a site about cats. Well, the obvious answer, really, is his name. His name is unusual and very appropriate. His full name is Eldrick Tont "Tiger" Woods. "Tont" is a Thai name. Tiger Woods is 25% Chinese, 25% Thai, 25% African American, 12.5% Native American, and 12.5% Dutch. Maybe this amalgam is partly why his is so strong mentally and physically. In the cat fancy it is called hybrid vigor!

Tiger's father was in the army and he gave a Vietnamese soldier friend of his the nickname "Tiger". In return this person, Vuong Dang Phong, gave the same name to Eldrick Woods. The nickname is now better described as an additional middle name or his christian or first name. Tiger is a Buddhist, by the way.

Tiger Woods Houses Images

Professional golfer Tiger Woods kept an incredible pace this week — as only Tiger can do — by sinking a 24-foot putt on the 18th hole in a come-from-behind win in the Arnold Palmer Invitational last weekend. Somewhere in between, Tiger, who is speculated to become the first billion-dollar athlete by 2010, reportedly sealed a deal to buy a magnificent 13,200-square-foot mansion on the quaintly named Gin Lane in Southampton that was listed for $65 million dollars.

If the sale price does come in higher than $58 million, it will be the highest-priced “single-parcel” property sale ever in the Hamptons. Tiger’s the one guy out of 4 who scoffs at the word recession
